1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using storykiddo.com and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Our Service

StoryKiddo creates personalized, custom-printed hardcover children's books. Each book is made to order using the name, photo, and preferences you provide. Because every book is uniquely created for your child, all orders are considered custom products.

3. Ordering & Payment

When you place an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete information including your child's name, a suitable photo, and valid payment details. Prices are listed in USD. Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of checkout.

We reserve the right to cancel any order that we believe violates these terms or contains inappropriate content.

4. No Returns or Refunds — All Sales Final

This policy exists because each book is uniquely manufactured to order — it cannot be resold or reused. We encourage you to review your personalization details carefully before completing your purchase.

Exception: If your book arrives damaged, defective, or with a printing error caused by us, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will reprint and reship your book at no additional charge.

5. Photo Requirements & Content Policy

By uploading a photo, you confirm that:

• You are the parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo, or have explicit permission to use the image.
• The photo does not contain inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content.
• You grant StoryKiddo a limited license to use the photo solely for the purpose of creating your personalized book.

We reserve the right to decline any order where the uploaded photo is unsuitable for processing (e.g., too blurry, multiple faces, or contains inappropriate content).

6. Shipping & Delivery

Every book is custom-produced within 2–3 business days. Delivery after production typically takes 1–9 business days depending on your country. Exact delivery estimates are shown at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Intellectual Property

All book content, illustrations, designs, and website content are the intellectual property of StoryKiddo. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission. The personalized book you purchase is for your personal, non-commercial use only.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided "as is." While we strive for the highest quality, we make no warranties that the AI cartoonization will produce a perfect likeness of your child. The preview shown before purchase is representative of the style and layout, but the final printed book may vary slightly due to printing processes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryKiddo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for your order.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
